Piebird
FOR HILTON
Create a visually compelling brand identity and tone of voice for Piebird, an American restaurant and bar concept exclusive to the DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio. We developed a whimsical character, Birdie, inspired by the ceramic piebird, to bring personality and playfulness to the brand. The color palette, inspired by pie fillings and ingredients, centers around hero colors Brambleberry and Sugar, capturing the warmth and comfort of homemade baking. A suite of hand-drawn illustrations by our lead designer, deLana Fernandez, enhances the visual identity, enriching the experience across the OS&E. The tone of voice is warm, authentic, and engaging — designed to evoke the feeling of gathering around the kitchen table with close friends and family.
